Tax Relief Assistance Programs

The Salt Lake County Treasurer’s Office oversees several tax relief programs available to qualified homeowners.

Salt Lake County's top priority is the well-being of all County residents. We offer a wide variety of programs, services, and information to serve our community.

Housing Stability Resources

The County continues to support housing stability through the Salt Lake County Stability Fund and the Housing Trust Fund, and continued support from our Housing and Community Development Team.  

Homelessness Services

Serving and connecting those at risk of or experiencing homelessness with community services and resources. Salt Lake County's goal is for all residents to achieve self-sufficiency and housing stability.

Substance Abuse Services

We offer a variety of services and programs designed to meet the needs of our community's diverse population of older adults and those who care for them.

We serve over 19,000 individuals each year with a goal of promoting independence through advocacy, engagement, and access to resources.

Whether it be substance abuse treatment or job training skills, free counseling or a safe place to go after school, Salt Lake County Youth Services programs are working towards the a common goal: to provide youth with a place of safety, shelter and support.

Treasurer

Bills and collects all real property taxes, administers statutory tax relief programs, refunds tax overpayments, distributes all taxes collected to local tax entities.

Wilson became Mayor in 2019 after serving ten years on the Salt Lake County Council. As the county grows and thrives, she is focused on the changing needs of citizens, businesses and the community.
