Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation offers summer camps at a variety of recreation centers in Salt Lake County.

Our weekly Recreation Camps provide a fun, engaging environment where kids stay active, explore creativity, and enjoy a variety of recreational activities throughout the day.

Services

2026 Summer Camps

Six Salt Lake County Recreation Centers offer Recreation Summer Camps in 2026 for 5-12 year olds, and two centers offer Licensed Out-of-School Summer Camps. Camp dates run June 8-August 7, with closures on the following holidays:

  • Juneteenth — Friday, June 19
  • Pioneer Day — Friday, July 24

Camp are offered in weekly sessions, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays*), and are split into half-day blocks:

  • Morning half-day (9 am-1 pm): $70.50 per week
  • Afternoon half-day (1 pm-5 pm): $70.50 per week
  • Full Day (register for both blocks): $141 total per week
  • *Holiday week costs are prorated to 4 days

  • June 8–August 7
  • Participants need to bring their own lunch and snacks
  • No camp June 19, July 3, and July 24

  • Participants need to bring their own lunch and snacks
