Cool Zones

Salt Lake County’s Cool Zones are designated areas in public facilities where you can temporarily cool off and learn about available services.

Each facility’s code of conduct, user fees, and eligibility restrictions still apply. Salt Lake County Senior Centers are open to everyone over the age of 60.

Please note that most locations are closed on Sundays.

Water Donations

If you wish to donate bottled water you can bring donations any day of the week between 8am and 7pm to the Pamela Atkinson Resource Center and the Gail Miller Resource Center. You may also donate to the Midvale Family Resource Center by appointment.
