Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate Improvements at Dimple Dell Regional Park
Sandy and White City, UT - Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the completion of multiple improvements at Dimple Dell Regional Park—a rare gem in the southeast portion of Salt Lake County. A ribbon cutting on April 27 is scheduled to celebrate the long-awaited park enhancements.

With funding made possible by the 2015 Zoo, Arts, and Parks (ZAP) tax and a 2016 general obligation (GO) bond, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation completed a variety of park improvements, including: two trailheads (Badger Cove and 300 East), updated Wrangler Trailhead and adjacent picnic area, removed invasive species from the pond and restored water levels for fire response, added a year-round restroom at Dimple Dell Road Trailhead, conducted test plots to promote native species growth within the park, conducted wood chip maintenance on soft-surface trails, and added ADA stalls and an accessible route restrooms at Dimple Dell Road Trailhead.

Dimple Dell Preservation Community and many community volunteers will also be at the park on April 27 to participate in the annual Earth Day Clean Up event. Anyone interested in volunteering is invited to grab gloves, shovels, and rakes and stop by.
