A privacy notice is a required disclosure the County provides whenever it collects personal data from you (Utah Code § 63A-19-402). It tells you what data is being collected, why, and how it will be used. You will find a notice on forms, at service counters, and online — look for a QR code or link. If you were not given a notice, you can report it on the Individuals page.
The saltlakecounty.gov Website Privacy Policy governs how the main county website handles visitor data. Countywide notices apply to programs and systems that span all agencies.
The personal data that you provide, or that is collected from you, is classified as a public record pursuant to Utah Code § 63G-2-301 of the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), and may be made available to the public as provided by Utah Code § 63G-2-201.
