Three Additional Attempted Murder Charges Filed in Alleged Targeted Auto-Pedestrian Crashes

Today, Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill announced the filing of three more counts of attempted murder against Anh Duy Pham for his alleged involvement in two additional targeted auto-pedestrian crashes with three victims. The Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office filed charges in March 2024 against the defendant for his alleged involvement in four other targeted auto-pedestrian crashes over seven months.

 

The amended charges include two counts of first-degree felony attempted murder, one count of third-degree felony failure to stop at serious injury accident, and one count of class A misdemeanor failure to stop at injury accident for an alleged incident on March 2, 2024, at 900 South 1300 East in Salt Lake City. There were two victims in this incident. In addition, the amended charges include one count of first-degree felony attempted murder and one count of third-degree felony failure to stop at a serious injury accident for an alleged incident on March 12, 2024, at 166 North T Street. There was one victim in this incident.

 

The defendant has now been charged with a total of nine counts of first-degree felony attempted murder, six counts of third-degree felony failure to stop at serious injury accident, and three counts of class A misdemeanor failure to stop at injury accident.
