"We appreciate Judge Pettit considering the gravity of the crimes committed by the defendant and the danger he posed to our entire community when she sentenced him to a minimum of nearly 20 years in prison, " said Salt Lake County District Attorney Sim Gill. "We thank the work of our prosecutors, Adrianna Davis and Brett Keeler, as well as their staff, for the years of work on this case. We appreciate the work of our partners in law enforcement at the South Jordan Police Department, who conducted a thorough investigation.”
