DA's Office Files Murder Charges in 2015 Magna Shootings

Salt Lake City, Utah - The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office filed two first-degree felony murder charges Monday against Brandon Beau Warren for the Aug. 17, 2015 murder of Stevan Chambers and the Aug. 19, 2015 murder of Shelli Brown in Magna, Utah

Warren, 25, was charged with 11 additional firearms felonies, varying in degree. As outlined in greater detail in the attached statement of probable cause below, it is alleged that Warren shot and killed both Chambers and Brown. An arrest warrant has been issued for Warren, with bail set at $2 million.

All persons accused of a crime are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office acknowledges the good work of the members of the Unified Police Department and other law enforcement agencies involved and appreciates their professional efforts in this significant case.
