Upper Mill Creek Canyon Road Improvements Project

This project will reconstruct the failing road, pedestrian safety, and watershed improvements in between Big Water Trailhead and Winter Gate in Upper Mill Creek Canyon.

Millcreek Canyon Reservations

In partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation manages reservations for the 10 group picnic areas and winter yurt in Millcreek Canyon.

Yurt Reservation

During the winter season, the Big Water Yurt is set up at the Upper Big Water Trailhead, 4.5 miles past the winter gate at the end of the canyon road.
