Cody Goetz

Cody Goetz is ZAP's Grants and Communication Coordinator. Prior to joining Salt Lake County, Cody served as the Executive Director of Mundi Project, a local arts nonprofit focused on creating access to music education. During his time, he oversaw the growth ofthe organization’s programming, finances, and engagement with underserved communities primarily across Salt Lake and Utah counties.

As an arts administrator, Cody is excited about facilitating ZAP’s public-private partnerships within the county through grantmaking as well as communicating the positive impact of arts, culture, andrecreation funding on county residents and visitors. Through his role, he looks forward to personally connecting and engaging with our ZAP grantees.

Cody has over 20 years of experience as a classically trained pianist and pedagogue. He holds a BM in Piano Performance and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and a MM in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Colorado - Boulder, where he also received a Certificate in Arts Administration. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, and going on travel adventures with his husband.
