Upper Mill Creek Road Improvement Project Construction Update

Construction continues on the rockery wall on the east end of the Big Water Parking Lot. Tree cutting and the clearing & grubbing of other vegetation is taking place at various locations throughout the project site. The trail tie-in across from the Elbow Fork Parking Area is being constructed.

Work has taken place at all three soil nail wall locations during the past couple of weeks. The majority of the work is taking place on Soil Nail Wall A. This is the soil nail wall closest to the beginning of the project. You will encounter a one-lane road condition at this location.

The installation of underdrains and excavation work at various locations within the project is also occurring. Be cautious of any drop-off conditions adjacent to the roadway. These locations will be delineated with vertical panels.
