Salt Lake County Animal Services’ “SPAYghetti & No Balls” Gala Returns Friday to Support Vital Spay & Neuter Programs

Salt Lake County, UT — Salt Lake County Animal Services' signature fundraising gala, SPAYghetti & No Balls, will be held Friday, October 10, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel. The evening celebrates the incredible donors and supporters who make Salt Lake County a safer and more compassionate place for pets.

This year's Vegas-style casino-themed gala will feature a Social Hour with cocktails and mocktails, a delicious spaghetti dinner, live entertainment by The Best DJ in Utah, casino-style gaming tables by Common Cents Casino Parties, a Silent Auction with mobile bidding, opportunity drawings, and even a Pet Psychic offering readings for guests who bring a photo of their pet.

While the event promises a night of fun, its purpose is deeply meaningful. Every dollar raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, and auction purchases goes directly into Salt Lake County Animal Services' Spay & Neuter Fund, supporting programs that make a real difference—such as the PAWS Mobile Clinic, Pet Retention Project, Feline Fix, ACO Cares, and TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts.

"This gala isn't just a celebration—it's a chance for our community to come together and directly impact the lives of pets and families in need," said Jami Johanson, Associate Director of Salt Lake County Animal Services. "The funds raised allow us to provide critical spay and neuter surgeries, medical care, and resources that keep pets healthy and out of shelters."

Salt Lake County Animal Services spays and neuters over 1,200 pets each year through its clinic, in addition to thousands of sterilizations for adopted animals. Maintaining these efforts ensures the shelter can continue advancing its no-kill mission and helping pets find and stay in loving homes.
