Salt Lake County Council to Pass Resolution Supporting “A Bolder Way Forward” for Women and Girls

WHAT: The Salt Lake County Council will consider and vote on a resolution supporting A Bolder Way Forward, a statewide initiative led by the Utah Women & Leadership Project at Utah State University. The framework is designed to advance the well-being and success of women and girls in Utah by addressing disparities in education, the workplace, health, safety and security, and community engagement (which includes political representation). Salt Lake County is the only county in Utah where both the mayor (or chief executive) and the majority of the council are women, and this resolution will make Salt Lake the first "A Bolder Way Forward" County in Utah.

WHEN: Tuesday, August 5, at 2:30 during the County Council Meeting

WHERE: Salt Lake County Council Chambers, Room N1-110
Salt Lake County Government Center
2001 S. State Street
