WHY: Salt Lake County Mayor Jenny Wilson will be hosting Governor Cox, Lt. Governor Henderson, and their teams for a day of volunteering with Meals on Wheels. Salt Lake County Meals on Wheels is a critical anti-hunger program that supports older adults' ability to age independently. Meals on Wheels is supported by local, state, and federal funding and operates with paid staff and volunteers. Salt Lake County and Meals on Wheels programs across the state are recruiting volunteers to help support the capacity of senior nutrition programs.
