Unified Fire Authority's Fireworks Restriction Map shows where in Salt Lake County fireworks are prohibited.

If an area is NOT red on the map, then fireworks are allowed only:

  • On July 2-5 and July 22-25 from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., except on July 4 and July 24 when the hours are 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
  • On December 31 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day.
  • On Chinese New Year from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. the following day.

To report fireworks outside of these dates and times, or in a restricted area, contact your local law enforcement.
