2025 Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards("PCI DSS") Compliance Review

The Salt Lake County Auditor's Office reviewed compliance with Countywide Policy 1400-7, which requires agencies and contractors to submit PCI DSS compliance documentation to the County Auditor by September 30th. Of the 21 entities reviewed, 20 (95%) met the deadline, while one (5%) submitted it's compliance documentation after the deadline. 

While the late submission did not directly impact PCI DSS compliance for all entities, timely submissions are crucial for effective monitoring and risk management.
